CH Carolina Calais On The Fly

FLASH! 2008 ASCA Nationals - "Emmi"
Premiers at two pre shows, takes BOS at another pre show and BOS at the
Nationals. She was also awarded second in the conformation finals.
Congratulations to Heather and Emmi for your outstanding
accomplishments.
MBISS CH Carolina Calais On The Fly ~ "Emmi"
was bred by Terri Morgan and Selena Poplin and is owned and handled by
Heather Hawkins. Emmi's show-ring success began in 2006 when at just
over a year old she won Best In Sweeps at the USASA National Specialty.
Later that year at the 2006 ASCA Nationals she went WB/BOW at a pre-show
and then WB at the Nationals to finish her Championship. Heather
purchased Emmi in 2008 and together they attended ASCA shows nearly
every weekend from January to May and ended the 2007/2008 show year with
Emmi being the #1 Intact Conformation Merit Dog!! Equally thrilling was
Emmi's WB and AOM win at the 2008 USASA Nationals in Greeley, CO. Emmi
and Heather continue to show in the ASCA specials ring and look forward
to competing in Las Vegas, NV in November at the ASCA Nationals. They
will also continue to show in AKC to complete her championship, with
hopes of competing at Westminster in 2009! Watch for this stunning girl
in the rings - her movement and show-ring presence will take your breath
away!!

the Chinese Crested Nationals. This time it's with Phil's young

Hello, my name is Leslie Gould of Les-Lee’s Chinese
Cresteds. I reside in Riverside, California with my eight (8) Chinese
Cresteds. I have one grown daughter Karrie Lee, son in-law James Bick and
one beautiful grandson Garrett Cole. I’m the Design Development Manager
for MODTECH HOLDINGS, INC. in Perris California.
I got my start in 1991, showing Saluki’s. I had the
pleasure of showing and owning two tri colored littermate brothers, Ch.
Aman Kebir Arias and Aman Kebir Moses CGC. It was these two brothers that
gave me the dog show bug. It was in mid/late 1991 that I saw my first
Crested and fell in love. I couldn’t believe my eyes…. this beautiful,
graceful, lively little dog. It wasn’t until mid 1992, that I brought my
first Crested home. It was love at first sight…. this little apricot and
white dilute Chinese Crested (powderpuff), now 13 years old and fondly
referred to as “Squeeker”, Ch. Babylon’s Rhumba for Les-Lee.

I’m a firm believer in that you can’t produce your greatest achievements
overnight. My greatest achievements have been to breed happy, healthy
sound puppies. Along the way, I have been blessed with several Champions,
Group placing, Best of Breed winners, Award of Merit winners, Specialty
winners and have a stud dog that is a Sire of Merit and that is close to
being a Sire of Distinction. The proudest moment of all was the 2004
National Specialty week going Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best Breed
By Exhibitor with my dearly beloved “Phil”, Ch. Les-Lee’s No Jacket
Required and then…later in the year, Phil’s brother “Mick” Les-Lee’s Paint
it Black winning at another Specialty.
Genetics plays a very
important roll in good skin and coat, but there is more we can do. I
remember many years ago being told by my fitness trainer “Crap in Crap
out”, what I mean by this is, poor nutrition leads to many things like dry
itchy skin, dull/dry brittle coat or furnishings, poor muscle tone and
many other things. Thank you Terry for introducing this great product line
to me. I have used several supplements over the years, but I did not have
the results with the others, like I have had with the Animal Naturals
products. “Phil” has been on Show Stopper since he was weaned and his
mother was fed the Puppy Gold while pregnant and nursing. I feed Show
Stopper to all my dogs, even the ones that are retired from the show ring.
Their skin and coats are wonderful and there is never a lack of energy
around the house. I have got to say, in my 13 years of breeding Chinese
Cresteds; I have never had a Powderpuff coat quite like Phil’s and my
hairless Cresteds skin is not so dry and much suppler. I truly believe
what goes inside, shows on the outside. The Puppy Gold has produced
stronger more vibrant puppies. Remember good genes, good food/supplements,
clean skin and coat will 9 times out of 10 produce great results.

Yours Truly,
Leslie A. Gould - Les-Lee’s Chinese Cresteds
