NASDA Workshop June 21, 2025 - Both workshops are full

Saturday February, 2024 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
Intro dogs start at 8 - Check in 7:30
Threshold and start line starts at 10:00 - Check in 9:30

Class fee is $35.00 per dog and handler team per session for the first dog, $25 for a second dog or second session for the same dog, $20.00 per person for auditing spots.

Our workshop will be conducted by the knowledgeable Stephanie Galvan (NASDA judge and competitor). Space is limited to 8 working spots per session. Entries will be taken on a first come basis. Payment information will be sent to applications once registration form has been received. Payment is require to hold your place in the workshop. Preferred method is Zelle or Venmo. Refunds for cancellation will only be made if the spot can be filled in a timely manner.

Sessions:
- 1 - Introduction to rats, Urban Locating and Trailing and Locating.
- 2 - Skills for competition; start lines and thresholds for rat classes.
- Dogs must be current on all vaccinations.
- Proof of rabies required.
- Rats and props will be provided.
- Coffee and water will be provided.
What to bring to the workshop: - Lots of soft moist treats (nothing crumbly).
- A hungry dog.
- Six and 10-15 foot leash that is easy to manage.
- Harness or flat collar (make sure there are no handles or loops the dog might get hung up).
- Chair.
- Shade for your vehicle and fans. A canopy can be set up but make sure you tie it down.
- Water for your dog.
